What I liked about this trip was the fact that we spent time in both Japan and Korea. This was the first time for me to go to Cheong Pyong so this trip really was a significant moment in my life to be in the Holy Ground of Korea.
What makes this whole trip a unique experience was meeting and spending time with CARP members from Japan, Korea and the USA. It really reminded me of how we have a beautiful global community, all coming together to strive to achieve unification. To see all the projects that CARP members across the world have done was truly inspiring.
Being part of the bigger world-wide CARP community during this trip has really opened my eyes to see the impact we can make; learning from all the rally speeches by K CARP, J CARP, LA CARP, Las Vegas CARP and seeing the passionate young individuals coming together to promote the teachings of the Principle. I really think I need to adopt their determination and passion in the UK to create the environment where a culture of heart can really thrive. I know that in the UK unlike the US it is difficult to create a CARP society as our young people go to different universities but personally I really want to concentrate my art projects on topics and the teachings of the Principle so it can create a way to start conversations with the people I meet in my university.
