I plan to take in a whole new culture, that is completely different than my own or one that I’m used to.
I want to see the sights and get to know members so that I can tell everyone at home that I have explored not only Japan, but the Unificationist members too.
-Reflection for the first two weeks-
These last two weeks have really been life changing. I not only learnt a lot of Japan and its’ culture but also about CARP members. I also learnt that I cannot always rely to be given information from others; I have to get it myself. I feel more mature from my time here and I am really hoping to come back again soon, to study. CARP members in Japan are very different compared to Europe members and this makes me feel refreshed that I got to be in a completely new environment.
-My thoughts after the J-CARP workshop-
After the workshop, I had a lot of time to think about the experience that I had gotten. Along with knowledge of a new language, I have come back more mature about Japan and the culture that it offers. The more time passes, the more I want to stay in Japan.
It may seem strange but I felt quite nostalgic when I was leaving on the airplane.
